Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but you couldn't even get me to open my own front door for $10/hr. I worked in the bar industry for 4 yrs back in my university days...and honey, you are getting chumped. Even on service bar (which is your given reason for non-tips), one is given a tip-out percentage from the cocktailers or servers whom you are servicing. The last time $10/hr was something to write home about was probably before my prom.
Not here to rip on you like others here on CL, but I am just curious as to your thoughts on the responses/reactions from your posting??? Haven't seen another posting from you since (dont be embarassed, you are anonymous). Please explain to the rest of us "extravagant spenders" in this city how you live in a comfy apartment (presumably with regular utilities and amnities) as well as afford the cost of 2 cats and various other activities such as $50 piercings and tattoos on a part-time retail associate's salary...I would love to know yo
