Powerful and wonderfully carved elephant ivory tusk. Hollow, carved 3/4 around with two crocodiles on opposite ends with open, hollow jaws having pointed teeth, and facing each other with a diminutive elephant between. The whole surface covered with amber brown color; some crocodile teeth, front of upper jaw of one crocodile, tip of elephant trunk lost, and nick at opening.
